Business in Asia is booming and STIEBEL ELTRON manages to double its production capacity by moving to new production facilities. In Ayutthaya, 70 kilometres away from Bangkok, hot water appliances are manufactured for the Asian market in a plant covering 2,000 square metres.

At the production site in Holzminden the largest and most modern factory for heat pumps in Europe is built. The construction of the "Dr. Theodor Stiebel site" represents a milestone in the company's history with an investment volume of over 10 million euros. More than 25,000 heat pumps can be produced annually at a production site covering almost 6,000 square metres.

Germany’s first heat pump train is on its way. The energy efficiency exhibition on rails is stopping at 21 major stations in Germany in all. Thousands of visitors show their enthusiasm for the imaginative marketing campaign.

STIEBEL ELTRON continues to invest in Germany as a manufacturing base. With the opening of a second factory for heat pumps in Holzminden, the company is responding to the sharp rise in demand for heat pumps worldwide. The company invested around eight million euros in the new hall.

STIEBEL ELTRON is opening its two new West and East distribution centres in the German cities of Oberhausen and Markkleeberg. The new, energy-efficient buildings, which are each heated with a large heat pump, fulfil the highest energy standards.

If Award
Enthusiasm for the new trade fair stand at the leading global exhibition ISH in Frankfurt. The company received the coveted iF communication design award for its sensational fair presence.
