Working Lunch reported that the main environmentally friendly feature of the development is its Stiebel Eltron renewable energy heat pump which generates heating and hot water for all seven apartments.
Stiebel Eltron managing director Mark McManus told Working Lunch that the push for renewable energy is helping reopen mothballed construction sites across the UK.
Ocean Heights developer Jerry Vasse said by making the development green friendly it helped win planning permission for the exclusive apartments.
The apartments entry level price is £375,000.
The Ocean Height’s heat pump will save 15.4 tonnes of carbon emissions each year.
