Entire Luxury Estate Benefits from Latest Stiebel Eltron UK Air Source Heat Technology

A luxury, state-of-the-art housing development in Saham Toney, Norfolk is to feature Stiebel Eltron UK air source heat pumps in every one of its 29 new-build properties, providing home-owners with ultra efficient heating and reduced energy bills.

Each property at The Wildflowers, developed by Clayland Estates, is individually designed, with homes ranging in size from 200m2 to 400m2. Stiebel Eltron, along with its installer partners is working with the developers to deliver their objective; the highest level of care and attention and ‘stunning homes that not only emphasise the beauty of a traditional design style but ensure modern advanced technologies are used throughout.’

Stiebel Eltron and installer Doublequick, specified the WPL 15/25 AS air source heat pump as the ideal solution for the new build development. A compact product, the WPL15/25 AS offered unobtrusive outdoor installation with whisper quiet operation.

The WPL15/25 AS product was developed by Stiebel Eltron UK to meet the bespoke requirements of the UK market. The range is the most compact yet and offers optimal efficiency using a single phase supply.

The air source heat pumps being installed on The Wildflowers development site have a bespoke inverter compressor, tuned for maximum efficiency in UK climatic conditions. For the first time in the UK market all the component parts of the machine have been optimised to suit UK demands and the machine has the best seasonal performance on the market in its class with a COP of 4.0 (A7 / W35).

Given their exceptional co-efficients of performance the Stiebel Eltron air source heat pumps are projected to reap major benefits for owners of The Wildflowers properties. Savings of, on average, £800 per annum are estimated in terms of energy costs when compared against non-renewable heat sources and the heat pumps will reach an output level that enables flow temperatures of up to + 65 °C to be achieved.

Speaking about The Wildflowers project, Mark McManus, Managing Director of Stiebel Eltron UK says, “The Clayland Estates project in Norfolk is the perfect example of Stiebel Eltron’s latest air source heat pump technology achieving exactly what it was designed to do, that is provide a highly-effective, renewable heating solution tailored specifically for the UK residential market. We are very happy to have been referred on this project and are confident that our heat pump technology chimes in perfectly with the luxury ethos of The Wildflowers development.”

Steven Double of Doublequick adds, “I had no hesitation in recommending Stiebel Eltron’s air source heat pump technology to our client, given the quality of the product and its exceptional efficiency. The compact, outdoor installations we have been able to provide have ensured that we don’t impact on the aesthetic appeal of the Wildflowers properties.”
