STIEBEL ELTRON is celebrating 15 years in the UK by committing to further growth in 2023 which will help boost Britain’s heat pump market.

Established in 2008 in Bromborough, Wirral, STIEBEL ELTRON UK has since flourished and is now a major supplier of heat pump products and installer training to the industry.

Now in its 15th year, the company is aiming to further grow its presence in the market, with 2023 representing a huge cause for optimism, STIEBEL ELTRON UK Managing Director Mark MacManus said.

With demand for heat pumps increasing, STIEBEL ELTRON UK aims to grow every area of the business in a bid to deliver the latest products and to train the next generation of installers to fit them in the years ahead.

In November last year, STIEBEL ELTRON UK invested £350,000 into a new state-of-the-art training facility to help inspire and develop the next generation of installers.

Coinciding with the investment, the company fine-tuned its training course so installers receive support during and after the course.

In the year ahead it now intends to invest in its scheme further to ensure a constant stream of well-equipped installers are entering the market who are empowered with working knowledge of the latest heat pump technology.

As well as developing new installers, STIEBEL ELTRON UK will assess where it can increase its product offering in all areas of the business, from heat pumps to instantaneous water heaters, from taps to hand dryers.

Additionally STIEBEL ELTRON UK intends to further grow its workforce and continue the progression of its staff.

This year the company received certification as A Great Place to Work, achieving a 94 percent Trust Score after its employees citied the company’s commitment to fairness, pride, and ethics during an anonymous survey.

STIEBEL ELTRON UK was established by Mark MacManus and STIEBEL ELTRON UK Technical Director John Felgate, both of whom highlighted the role of the company’s employees in driving the business forward.

Mark McManus, STIEBEL ELTRON Managing Director, said: “Reaching 15 years in a competitive market is no mean feat. This is down to our employees who work tirelessly to ensure every aspect of the business flourishes. Simply put, the success we have enjoyed since setting up in the UK belongs to them.

“We’ve had a stellar 15 years so far and want to make sure that we continue to build on this strong foundation. As a result 2023 will see STIEBEL ELTON UK grow its products and services, staff, and facilities with a view to supercharging the heat pump market so it is stronger than ever before.”

John Felgate, STIEBEL ELTRON Technical Director, said: “We have a lot of fond memories since we set up in the UK and looking forward to many more. There is a fantastic culture at STIEBEL ELTRON and this is vital to ensuring the business goes from strength to strength.

“We have a lot of exciting plans ahead of us, one which we are particularly looking forward to is helping to develop fully qualified installers so they have all the tools and knowledge available to them to meet any industry challenge head on.”
