Stiebel Eltron sets the bar for heat recovery with new ventilation system

Heating products manufacturer Stiebel Eltron UK has launched a new industry-leading ventilation system.

Developed as a space saving heat recovery solution, the LWZ ventilation unit is tailored to improve the energy efficiency of apartments, detached houses and small commercial properties, with minimal disruption.

LWZ product details

The LWZ maximises energy efficiency by implementing a unique heat exchanger, allowing for up to 90% of the thermal energy in extract air to be recovered and achieving an A rating in the EU ErP energy standards.

The system is also listed on the SAP Product Characteristic Database, allowing designers to accurately model the carbon dioxide savings associated with the unit, providing the insights needed to ensure the system is tailored for each specific installation.

By utilising a modern unit design and providing the option of FEB remote control, the LWZ offers the ideal centralised solution for residential developments, operating quietly in densely populated areas and providing intuitive controls and a simple filter change process.

The LWZ delivers optimum internal air quality in addition to an energy efficient cooling function – adjustable via remote control and at the appliance itself – ensuring a high level of comfort.

Mark McManus, managing director of Stiebel Eltron UK, said: “The LWZ is a stellar addition to our extensive range of renewable products designed to make energy efficiency as simple as possible for our customers.

“Our aim is to create products that can deliver industry-leading performance whilst maintaining intuitive design and usability, minimal disruption when in use and a simple installation process.

“Our focus on these issues drives us to continue developing pioneering renewable technology such as the LWZ and we look forward to continuing this throughout 2018.”
