hpnext on PCDB and ENA
Two new additions to industry datababses bring the benefits of easier sales and installation to our partner installers.
The hpnext air source range is now listed on the Product Characteristics Database (PCDB)
The PCDB ensures our products are fully recognised within SAP calculations, making them far easier to specify into new build and retrofit projects. The benefits of the listing for our customers includes:
- Easier specification into EPC-driven projects and for developer customers
- We’re now in a stronger position with consultants and developers - helping our installer partners to win more projects
- Full alignment with Future Homes Standard, Part L and SAP assessments
The PCDB and our third-party certified test data (KEYMARK) demonstrate the high efficiency of the hpnext range.
Managng Director John Felgate welcomed the news saying, "Because our heat pumps are listed on the PCDB, the SAP assessor can use real performance data rather than conservative defaults. That improves the SAP score, which allows a developer to take a holistic approach to the air tightness and fabric specification of the building."
The addition to ENA direct connect database allows ours installers to often get a faster grid connection approval with a streamlined process, via an app.
